1900 Federal Census. Living with parents in Walton Twp. LaBette Co, Kansas. Age 15 and born in Kansas. Fathers birth state is Indiana and mother's Illinois. Has younger brother Ernest age 9 born in Kansas.

1910 Federal Census. Living in Shasta Co., California with wife Nina and three children. Age 26. Daughters: Thelma, age 4 born in Kansas, Etherl M. Age 2 born in Ca and Ada ruth an infant born Ca. Fletcher is a “smelter”.

1920 Federal Census. Living in Oakland, Alameda Co, Ca (1458 79th Avenue) age 35, wife Nina 33, Thelma 14, Ethel 12, Ada Ruth 10, Howard 4, Blanche 2 and his parents William and Carrie Dildine, both age 64. Flether's occupation is “gate hanger in ship yard.”

Granmother Troegle's address book has Fletcher and Ina living at one time at Oak Park Lane, Walnut Creek, Ca (after 1920).

1923. Living at 1521 79th Avenue.

Kept a store (probably 1939): Garage Gorcery 7828 E. 14th Street Oakland, California

Later, Nina was living with daughter and son-in-law at 3474 Monroe Ave, Lafayette, Ca. M/M O.E. Shirmer.

Death certificate. Age 74. Last employment had been as a molder with Hazel Atlas Glass co. Address was 285 Oak park Lane, Walnut Creek, Contra Costa, Ca. Son, Howard Dildine, was the informant. Buried Oakmont Memorial Park, Lafayette, Ca. Died of coronary artery disease, Myocardial infarction and angina.

Dildine, Charles Fletcher. suddenly

January 1, 1959, in Walnut Creek of 285 Oak Park Lane, Walnut Creek; loving husband of Ada Nina Dildine; loving father of Mrs. Thelma Schleifer of Martinez, Mrs. Ethel Crandell of Walnut Creek; Mrs. Ruth Schirmer of Lafayette; Mr. Howard Dildine of Pleasant Hill; Mrs. Blanche Joseph of Concord, and Mrs. Nina Belmissieri of Hayward; also survived by 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. A native of Kansas; aged 74 years.

A farewell service to which all friends are welcome will be held Monday, January 5, at 11 a.m. in the Walnut Creek Chapel of the Little Chapel of the Flowers (Hull & Sons), 1139 Saranap Boulevard Way. Concluding services Oakmont Memorial Park, Pleasant Hill. Rev. james Upshaw of the Walnut Creek Presbyterian Church will officiate.
