I'm sorry to be so late answering. This arrived at a difficult time, and I'm just now realizing that there are messages I never answered.

Unfortunately, I know very little about Milton A. Harper. I have him born c. 1870 in California, son of Twyman Wayt Harper and Ann Elizabeth Hopkins, occupation: school teacher. This information came from a census entry, but I haven't had a chance to pursue descendants further. I can tell you that members of the family I'm researching are buried in Smith Mountain Cemetery (apparently, there was a burial ground on a family member's private property, which they had relocated to Smith Mountain), so that, at least, is suggestive of a connection. Joseph E., Nellie M., and Sarah E. are all in my database, as well, all children of Twyman & Ann Harper.

Again, I'm sorry to have been so long answering.

Linda
